This is the first Batch Order for Jaluino project and is, as you guess, about ordering PCBs for Jaluino Medium v1.3a.

Product description

The product is a PCB board only for Jaluino Medium v1.3a. There's no components, it's not a kit or anything like that.

Note version is "a", not "b". Difference is about 3.3V voltage regulator's pin layout, please refer to this description in order to know compatible regulators.

Warning: we've just discover a minor default in PCB. Vias aren't exposed properly to soldering, as the green resin covers the circle around the hole. Vias in this design are used to solder a simple wire. There's usually no need to solder on vias by default, explaining the problem. There are 4 vias on the board, for 2 wires.

This can easily be fixed by using sandpaper, a razor blade or a scalpel. The following pictures shows the problem before and after the fix (I used sandpaper).

Vias' holes aren't exposed to soldering, resin is covering the circle around the hole	After gently using sandpaper, vias are now exposed and the wire can be soldered.

Pricing information

For this batch, 16 PCBs were created. It costs Rs.3157 (Indian Rupees). Shipping them to France costs Rs.847. That's a total Rs.4004 for 16 PCBs, thus Rs.250.25 per PCB. In Euro and US dollar exchange, this gives:

Following is a table showing shipping cost from France, for one board. If more than one board is ordered, shipping costs may decrease. Ask for more. Shipping can be registered or not. There's usually no problem when sending unregistered, but I'm obviously not responsible if package gets lost.

Payment details

I accept payments via Paypal, in Euro or US dollars. Once payment is received, I'll send the package.

Be careful: there can be additional fees when paying via paypal (as any payment facilities...). You may have to pay a little mor. About PCB manufacturer

PCBs were manufactured in India, thanks to Sunish who locally dealt with all the details. PCB manufacturer is Vishal International. Sunish wants to warn it requires a local contact (most communication is done using phone) to make sure order is properly processed.

This batch order, and the followings, is based on some volunteers who want to distribute Jaluino PCBs at low prices. All this process requires time, energy and of course money. We're just doing our best to order and ship products, but it can take some time. Be patient.
